Basketball Finals

In my Leadership Group we have been Progressing Fast!, its all about keeping Positive. Clearly in Auckland the weather can always change to sunny, grey, wet, and super hot. Fingers Cross! its does. Everyone in the group have put a lot of hard work in to this event to happened. The Basketball Tournament is one of the plans for the Leadership Groups it only started about a year ago. Its beginning to be a tradition now. Basketball, is getting popular by the minute. Hopefully in the future we will be able to add a basketball team in our school.

Last Term my class had a basketball tournament of there own. It was Wild. Everyone was all in for the game, they were truly amazing I thought. They were quick on there feet, jumping, leaping, as the ball was bouncing in to different directions. Lucky for me I got a quick snap of there movement, every little exciting bit of it. Defending was one of the photos.

Feast Day Of Saint Pius

Today we celebrated the Feast Day of Saint Pius. The started out heavy and grey, with rain pouring heavily. Students stumbling through the puddles making there way to the church. It seem really grey and wet. I quickly ran to the office to drop my bag and run. Dipping the tips of my fingers into the round wooden bowl, as I quickly enter in without a head turning. We sat and carefully listen to the readings of the gospel, Father talked about a story how a poor boy named Jimmy who would go to the front of the altar and say Jesus Jimmy is here. It was a very lovely story. Mass ended, we were all told to go to the hall where we would have our our slice of cake. What I would say my favourite quotes from Saint Pius that he said I was Born Poor, I lived Poor, I wished to Die Poor.

Missing Cross Country

This year I missed cross country, it was one of those week where you couldn't go to school or else you will get the blame of making another child ill. No parent wants their child sick especially mine. What I would describe my day is a home at hospital Tissues everywhere, on the floor, sofa, bed and on the table. My head would be just like a big red balloon ready to pop, my voice was all scruffily and cold. I would shake when the cold breeze's would hit me. What a day at home.

My Learning Progress

Its been term 3 and its only been four weeks now. Today on Monday I was refreshing my head to get ready for the day, I had four days of school last week, so I would have to catch up with the others fast. We would have to talk about fractions. To see if we get it or not. We didn't get to the workshop since we were busy with our independent activity. I was a little bit nervous because it was stage five what I was working on. I realize I needed to work on my timetables which will able me to do more.
